Christianity is not a theory or speculation, but a life; not a philosophy of life, but a living presence.

Exodus 14:14

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Remember this in all things...relax, find comfort in knowing He is taking care of what you need...

Dear prayer partners,

I received this urgent request for prayer today from someone in the Tacoma 40 Days for Life.
I have removed any personally identifying info.
Please read this plea and then take a moment to lift this young lady up in prayer.

God bless you all

ATTENTION URGENT LIFE ALTERING PRAYER REQUEST

Christians,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this, but I am reaching out for prayer again for someone wrestling with an abortion decision. One of the female sailors in my division (group of sailors I am in charge of at work), just found out that she is 7 weeks pregnant. She is not married. She is scheduled to leave our command this summer in order to go to see with the Navy. There is a possibility that if she keeps the baby, she will not be able to accept the orders and that could lead to negative career implications. All of the above and more have got to be weighing on her.
She has said that she will make a decision by FRIDAY.

I have not had the opportunity to talk with her yet, but I am hoping to do so tomorrow. She is probably around 19 or 20.

Please stand in the gap for this little baby because his/her life is in danger. I do not know what else to say other than those receiving this email have prayed for a similar situation two and a half years ago.

I was reminded today just how important prayer is. It is more important than any words that can be said. If you remember the last situation, I was in a difficult spot in sharing what I wanted to because I was in that person's (XXXXX) direct chain of command. The same applies here. There is so much I want to tell her. Please pray for her and this little one and for the Holy Spirit to give me and others the exact words to say, and that she would be drawn to the Gospel of Jesus.

Thank you for standing in the gap.

Grace,

XXXXX

Philippians 3:13b-14 Forgetting what is behind and straining for what is ahead I press on toward to the goal to win the prize for which God has called my heavenward in Christ Jesus. ~This is what I try so desperately to do when it feels like stupid things you've done in the past seem to be giving you a push in the wrong direction and pray that I can live by it the best that I can in Christ Jesus.

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you all that I am going to a practical missions training school in Mozambique (Africa) this summer, as well as an extended outreach to Thailand right after that. I will be working with orphaned children, street children, and prostitutes, as well as helping organizations that participate in rescuing sex trafficking victims. I am so excited to go! If you can, please check out my website. It will tell you more about me, the trips, and how you can partner with me to get on the mission field.

Also, I've got an online t-shirt shop that you can visit if you'd like. This will help me out with airfare.

Blessings! :]

I completely agree. You can see the end times coming. People are starting to lose sight of God.

Good natured religious humor:  a friend of mine who's a "completed" Jew told me this one recently > > >

An older Jewish gentleman was speaking with a friend and says "My son has converted to Christianity . . . I don't know what to do."

His friend replies "Funny you should mention it . . . buy my son also has converted.  Maybe we should ask Rabbi Goldstein?"

So they go to see the Rabbi and tell him their concerns.  Rabbi replies, "Funny you should mention it . . . buy my son also converted from Jewish to Christian and I don't know what to do either.  Perhaps we should seek God for guidance?"

So they pray . . . and a voice comes down from Heaven . . .

"Funny you should mention it . . . "

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

~ Exodus 3:13-14

                                I  AM

I was regretting the past

and fearing the future.

Suddenly my Lord was speaking:

"My name is I AM".

He paused.

I waited. He continued,

"When you live in the past

with its mistakes and regrets,

it is hard. I am not there.

My name is not I WAS.

When you live in the future

with its problems and fears,

it is hard. I am not there.

My name is not I WILL BE.

When you live in this moment,

it is not hard. I am here.

My name is I AM."

(by Helen Mallicoat )

". . . and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  Amen"

~Matthew 28:20
