If you're normal you're weird and if you're weird you're normal.

     My mythical beast is a Random. Now randoms come in all shapes and sizes so you will never know what to expect with them. Scientists still have yet to make any progress in tracking their behavioral patterns and know very little about them. The little that they do know is that they are very loving and kind creatures who look after one another. 

The call of the Random sounds very much like human laughter and can be quite terrifying when heard off in the distance on a dark night.
