Would you rather: Teleport or fly anywhere in under 10 minutes?

I personally would rather fly anywhere in under 10 minutes. I would get to see more scenery and stuff. Plus just flying in general is fun.

How about you? Would you rather have the ability to teleport anywhere, or have the ability to fly anywhere in under 10 minutes?

I have to say I'm with the 'flight crew' on this one, and not without considerable open minded pondering.

Looking at it from a purely experiential point of view, I'd prefer flight, but point taken from the other side, perhaps teleportation would be more practical.

I guess in the big picture, I'm more of an experiential person. I keep thinking, 'Flight is to analog as teleportation is to digital'... and though digital media (music, etc.) have great advantages, we all evidently enjoy a good 'analog' guitar and recorder song, even brought to us by digital means.

That being said, if teleportation had the same experiential component, it would be very tempting indeed...

"Holy overuse-of-the-word-experiential, Batman!"
Teleporting is the way to go for me. I mean there are very few reasons why you would go for flying.
The few main reasons for flying are easily dis-banded.So join me as we disband them the way they where meant to be.

1.Teleporting isn't as flashy.-Well flash it up,work it.What looks cooler jumping of an edge of a building and gliding down.Or running off the edge of the skyscraper and disappearing only to reappear on the walls of a another building only to disappear again and continually bounce down the sides adding flashy moves between jumps until you hit the ground.

2. Teleporting is dangerous .-If something can wrong with teleporting why cant it go wrong flying. What happens if you sneezed mid flight lose control and hurtle towards the ground. With a split second teleportation there's no time for stuff to go wrong.

Now apply these powers to a very serious situation.Late 1944 war is in bloom and allied forces are progressing on Berlin. An secret US section The department of occult warfare discovered your power and has sent you on a secret mission to disrupt German supply lines by destroying a massive train yard outside Berlin.
2 things could happen.
1. You could fly through clouds of anti air flak fire while being chased down by Messerschmitts and land on the first "hotspot" place an explosive and race to the next "hotspot" while still under fire from German troops. Then after racing all over the train yard placing explosive you would have to fly away before it all go's BOOM.
Massive risk
OR
2.Teleport to the train yard place explosive and teleport to the next "Hotspot" then to the next and then to the next .After all the explosive has been placed you could be back in Blighty with a cup of tea and a few biscuits before the Germans have found out that you have even been there.
Flying! Imagine how much you would miss out on if you teleported everywhere! And you'd get lazy.. haha.

And I'm assuming that if you had the super-human ability to fly, you would also not get that pressure in your ears/ it would not be so cold.

Well I'm quite a bit late on this discussion but I was looking through the list and it sounded interesting :)
I would rather teleport, for several reasons. First of all, it's much easier and there's no wasted time. In my busy life, I need the fastest, easiest, most efficient solution. Also, teleportation is much safer because when you're flying fast enough to get anywhere in ten minutes or less planes and jets can't see you, so there's a slim chance you could get hit, even if that chance is very VERY slim... in teleportation all you do is dematerialize and then rematerialize, so there's no risk of that there. Also, you could just disappear when people you didn't want to see came around or in any bad situation, and no one could track you, unlike when you fly, because they can see you then, or potentially put a tracking device on you. :D
I agree with Dan Kossick and Rhett. I would choose Telport. Like Dan said if you have watched the movie Jumpers that is an awesome way to travel. But then I guess they would need to figure out a way to block you from teleporting into banks and other places of value. It would be awesome to get to visit family and friends anytime or place with a blink of the eye. Of course then you have the problem of peeps you don't want to see bugging you. haha
