Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
As you may already know, yesterday's GMM (12th November) had two more "props" to buy on Ebay from previous episodes. Rhett's drill last time sold for $740 and Link's bloopity phone sold for $770. I just checked the Ebay pages and the prices rocketed up faster than they did last time! This discussion is really just here to talk about it and document it. BYMB!

Yes it's doing really well. I have read on some social sites that there are some sad people who can't bid because it's US only shipping.
Like me (but I can't afford to bid that high anyway)
HERE ARE THE LINKS & INFO for those who want to view or track the action themselves . . .

I'm just hoping that all of the bids on these items are real and not just some kids goofing around as they think it's another R&L gag like the "As Seen on GMM" items. If not, Mom's PayPal account is going to get a big surprise coming up in about 10 days once the auction ends.
That $$$ is a bit much to pay for one (1) useless souvenir aged walkie-talkie-phone, and I've already got a nice cordless drill . . . but, since it's for a good cause, maybe I'll just throw down a bid or buy some items listed or make a direct and immediate contribution outright at the Action Against Hunger eBay page: http://givingworks.ebay.com/charity-auctions/charity/action-against...
Look for the instructions on this page also if you have any items you would like to list and sell with all or a portion of the proceeds going to this or another charity of your choice.

No activity over the weekend . . . nobody new has joined into the mix . . . it looks as if bidder "i***i" has run through his auto-bid limit and will lie probably low, hoping to pounce with one final bid at the last moment. But, who knows? maybe the other bidders have high auto settings up to $1,000 or more.
My guess is that we won't see any new action on either item until the final hour.
The settings changed for it and people now have to email to be pre-approved. Wonder if they were having some young ones bidding on it.
The bids haven't changed yet...
37 minutes left!
It's finished!
Rhett's heels' highest bid is currently $152.50 and Link's headphones' highest bid is $202.50. I guess more people like buying Link's stuff...
I'd personally rather have Rhett's heels, but that's because The High-Heeled Lumberjack Challenge is one of my favorite episodes!
