How did you find the Kommunity?

Hi guys.

We (the K-Mods) are wondering how exactly you found the Kommunity?

We understand some have been here a while and probably don't recall, but if you have any idea, we really need to hear how you stumbled on our most Beastly of websites.

Examples:

Found it when visiting Rhett and Links personal website (rhettandlink.com)

Saw the url in the description of a GMM

Watched an episode of GMM where Rhett and Link promoted it

If you can ask other beasts to reply to this too that would really help us out.

i just watched an episode of gmm, and i really wanted to join Kommunity, but cant, so i asked my brother if i can sign up, and he let me, my parents kno, and dont care anymore xD

Well... I believe I found it for a few reasons.

1) I have listened to humorous novelty music for 30+ years and found some Rhett and Link music videos on You-Tube back in 2009 0r 2010 or so and was hooked from the get-go.

2) I drew up a bit of fanart and wanted to send it/post it somewhere for them- somewhere I got the suggestion to join the Kommunity; I'm not 100% sure where I got the suggestion, but there ya go. I think I joined just as the design-a-Mythical-Beast contest was going on- I submitted a design (late in the competition I think) and have been posting fan-art since.

Well, my mom found it through GMM on youtube (Rhett and Link told her to visit the site), then she signed up. I decided I wanted to sign up too :)

I found the Komm through an episode of GMM. It was probably during season 2. I think they had advertised a Komm exclusive video and I was on a quest to watch all their content. The rest is history...

I saw R&L promote it in one of their episodes. I didn't check the page immediately but got interested and then few episodes later decided to look into this. Been here ever since. :)

I found GMM during Season 1 and kept hearing R&L talk about the Kommunity...finally, during one episode, I was inspired to make a photoshopped image based on something they said and figured the Kommunity would be the best place to post it...so I signed up, uploaded it, and the rest is history!

I was watching a video on YouTube with my 5 year old son and after it was over, my son saw a pink Lego shoe so he wanted to watch that video (Will It Shoe). That video led to another and another then some Rhett and Link songs. We instantly fell in love with the guys and now here we are! My son was so excited to get to talk to them on #sipmeup. He still sings the song that they made up :-)
