So, how can you possibly follow up an episode with 700 ping pong balls, 700 water balloons and 700 gumballs? How else but with a 10,000 Bees Beard, of course!

Considering that he has such an anxious personality, he really surprises me. He has been amazing, seriously, I'd freaking out after 0.1 second maximum.

A great episode by the way, I loved that.

Also, he and Rhett occasionally bring up, when discussing something they wouldn't want to do, how many views it would take for them to do it. "I wouldn't even do that for 6 million views!" and the like. I have a feeling that Link got in the "view zone" where, once the cameras are on, you're just gonna do it no matter what.

I actually just listened to their Ear Biscuit about "Most Bizarre Rites of Passage" and they have a fairly lengthy conversation about the fact that they only do most of the things on GMM for the sake of the video views, plus the "I'd only do that for _____ number of views" line of theorizing.

They say that quite frequently, actually...it makes me feel a little weird.

That Ear Biscuit was specifically the place I was thinking about, since as you mentioned, they talked about it for a while!

I guess when views = money and you have families to feed, donning a bee-beard seems trivial.

I agree that money is probably one aspect. But I would give them credit for also feeling happy that people appreciate their "art." Like getting validated that so many people appreciate something they made. :)

I found it pretty funny that Rhett kept saying "bitten" instead of "stung." The only people I know who make that switch are children, so it was a little strange to hear that from Rhett. XD

I can't remember exact occurrences, but I know that in the past he's said "bitten" as a generalization for getting hurt by something that doesn't bite (bees, maybe something about scorpions in the GMM episode where they ate one?). Maybe I'm off base with this, but since I agree it's strange he "misuses" it often, I've chalked it up to likely being vocabulary he developed because of the place he grew up. Another example is how he (and Link) say "cut off" in places where I would say "turn off". "Cut off the lights," or "Hey, cut that off for a second. It's too loud." Or Link's use of "might would've", which I would never say.
