OLD  SCHOOL:

NEWFANGLED:

The before-school childcare that I went to (from preschool to maybe 3rd grade?) had an Apple II in the corner. After a bunch of those early mornings, I was able to finally make it to this screen.

We also got to play Oregon Trail II in "computer class", though I never beat that one.

I had trouble understanding the name of the WOM presenter in today's episode to add to the Season #6 poster, but was finally able to locate her utilizing my considerable googlization skills.

Miss Minnesota American Coed 2013 and a mythical beast in her own right . . .

This was a really fun episode! Ahh, The Oregon Trail. I remember first playing it on the computers in Computer Class in elementary school...maybe as early as 3rd grade, but definitely all through 5th grade. When we weren't doing typing drills, we were all playing The Oregon Trail. :) We also ended up getting the CD ROM at home, and me and my three siblings would form a team together and head out. The goal was to be one of the surviving members (if we got to the end) and lord it over any of the other siblings whose character didn't make it through.

I have to say, though, those skinny jeans on Link are, uh, really skinny. I remarked in chat the other day after watching the YouTube Rewind 2014 that Link has a figure made for women's fashion modeling...I now stand even more behind that observation. :P
