I accidentally broke my bow (I know I'm super clumsy D:) but I kinda wanted a new one for a while. So now I'm searching for a new bow! I never realized how complicated this all was! This bow has good control but doesn't sound good on the lower strings, that bow is nice on the lower strings but sounds funny on the high fast stuff, this bow feels bouncy and happy and that bow is stiff! I now am borrowing a ton of bows to try out...and to practice with!
So whats up with bows.
Idk I just figured since I hadn't been on the Komm in a while I should post something and I just finished practicing. So bows.

My brother tried playing my cello once when I was younger as a joke. I was too young to realize that he could damage it. Anyways, he played all the strings at once and the bow broke instantly, I felt terrible and so did he. Finding a new bow really is hard though. I'm getting a new one soon, the one I am looking at is pretty nice and I can't wait to use it.
That's a tough one.
I always thought my very first bow was the best, although it was quite cheap. (on a bow-scale).(not actually cheap).
Let me know if you find a good bow - I'm in the market for a new one!

This is what I got, and I'm really happy with it! It's bouncier than any bow I've ever tried, which makes spiccato really fun, haha. I did an in-home trial thing through shar though, and that helped me narrow down what I'd like. Here's a link to that:

Hope that helps!
The bows that we use at our school are all super horrible, like all of them need to be rehaired and its pretty not fun.
