Hi, I am a new member
i have been playing the Cello for 11 years now I love the sweet beautiful sound when you play the cello even when playing Randomly it still sounds beautiful. I have been having to trouble lately to try find a solo songs you guys have any suggestions:)

@mythicalbeasteve I think you're right, there might be an 8th position. After that though, I don't really think of them as positions, but more as "where's my thumb?" for thumb position. Honestly I stop thinking in positions after 4th...the suzuki books start on that in like book 4 I think...I'm not sure. Cello.jpg This is a really good explanation of everything up to upper seventh, but not past that...I can't really find anything that explains it better than that. Hope that helps a little...
