Link opened the main episode with the double thumbs up and closed GMMore with the double peace signs. I for one would vote for this trend to continue.

I second the motion.

Oddly enough (see what I did there?), this subject was also a news headline found in my googlization of today's discussion topic.

(Coincidence? I don't think so! Jason's gotta get those ideas from someplace, right?)

There was an article posted only yesterday on MASHABLE.COM which includes only one (1) of those museums that R&L chose to talk about (The Mutter Museum).  The entire cross-country route to view all the spots listed travels from Portland, Maine, to Portland, Oregon covering 9,209 miles and 142 hours 15 minutes of drive time they way they have it mapped out, so don't think I'll be taking that drive anytime soom.  But several on the Mashable listing might be worthy of at least a short road trip just to check out the weirdness if you live in the area or just happen to be passing by.

26 Weird Museums to Visit for the Ultimate American Road Trip

My favorite on the list?

It's probably a toss-up between the National Mustard Museum (Middleton, WI) or Barney Smith's Toilet Seat Art Museum (Alamo Heights, TX)

I actually recognized the person who runs the Burnt Food Museum! I googled it to confirm, but there's only one "accomplished electric harpist" named Deborah in Boston that I know of - Deborah Henson-Conant. I grew up in the Boston area and took harp lessons all through middle school and high school; while I never met her, she's one of the big names in the harp community because she's one of *the* frontrunners of jazz harp. I didn't know about her museum, though, so that was an odd moment of "waiiitttt....is that who I think that is???".

I live about 20 min away from the Vent Haven Ventriloquism Museum. It's also about 5 min away from my brother's house. I was going to stop there and take a picture on my next venture out that way, but I googled it and it's actually at someone's home. I thought it would be a little too strange to walk into someone's yard unannounced and take a picture next to their garage. I probably will make an appointment for a tour though. Gotta get a picture of Maisie for Rhett, lol.
