SEPAK TAKRAW http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sepak_takraw - - - although not at the "professional" level of the teams in the video that R&L showed. Our old church building in Georgia was sold to a Hmong Christian Alliance congregation and their teenagers played this game constantly on a court behind the building. And since they on average were not as tall as the 5-foot net this makes a bicycle kick slam pretty impressive!

This episode was accompanied by what is clearly my favorite Good Mythical More so far. It was heartwarming to see them briefly revert to their 10-year-old selves during a few bouts of finger jousting.

Yeah! Link is a lot more childish sometimes so it was nice to see Rhett loosen up for a little. Not saying he's uptight he is just usually the more mature one. I think Link should have won. :(

Link's laughter is often drowned out by Rhett's finger jousting "war cry"

While watching through this and when I got to the 6:00 mark the thought suddenly came to my head of Rhett's family sitting around the dinner table and one of the kids asking, "What did you do at work today, Daddy?"

Hahaha, the second round of finger jousting was definitely the greatest event of GMM or GMM More. They were really going for it!

I decided to add links in the header above for any inquisitive MBs (like me) who might want to further research the origin, rules of play and grandeur history of these spectacular sports. All of them have some extensive coverage with numerous links on WIKI except for finger jousting, so instead for that one is listed the link to the World Finger Jousting Federation homepage.

My favorite description among all of these was for SHIN-KICKING (also known as HACKING) which has been described as "an English martial art" . . . and is apparently played in front of a cardboard castle.
