Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

I will not be writing every day, but today I made a collage and it turned out really good. So I encourage all of you to try art projects this summer. Collages are easy to make and it is rewarding to be able to hang something in my room that I made. Below are going to be the steps and materials needed to make a collage. What are your summer art projects?

Materials Needed to Make a Collage

Mod Podge, Paint brushes, Pictures and something to put your pictures on

poster board, wood, or a canvas

(this does not necessarily need to be pictures you could do quotes or even scrap booking paper)

Step 1. Lay out all the pictures to get an idea of how you want your collage to look. Once I had it organized the way I wanted it I took a picture for reference. This is optional but, I found it to be helpful.

Step 2. Brush the Mod Podge on your picture. Make sure you do it on the picture not the board. Try to do a thin layer. Also do not worry if it looks a little wrinkled it will become unwrinkled once it drys.

Step 3. Let it dry, and hang it up for all or your friends and family to see.

My Tips

Although art projects can be expensive, there are ways to make the cost minimal. Many craft stores have sails and coupons. Also, check out dollar stores for art materials.
