Deli Dingaling

So I’m at Brookshire’s deli and wanting some deli meat. I ask the lady for 8 ounces of turcky . She looks at me stunned. “Our scales only work in pounds.” I blink “So I can only buy a pound?” “No you can get less than a pound, but you need to tell me if you want half a pound or a quarter of a pound.” I chuckle “So if 16ounces is a pound and 8 is half of 16 and I want 8 ounces then….” “Mam I told you I can only deal with pounds how much of a pound do you want?” “You failed math didn’t you?”
