Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Hey, fellow Beasts!! It's 2011 now, geez. Where did the time go? I remember what I was doing exactly at midnight,January 1st, 2010*. Strange how it just flies by....
ANYWAY, I figured I'd do a brief recap of my Christmas and whatever else has happened in the past...two weeks since I last spoke to you. I got BOATLOADS of candy, even though one look at me says I positively DO NOT need any more. I got a new iPod Touch, because my last one succumbed to the Doom Seed after 2 years and several drops on hard floors. Some tea, some books...oh, and a pair of shoes. Y'know, just some shoes. That happen to be blue and green. With wings. And pockets to put things in. A wolf hat. Umm... I got a haircut that makes me look slightly more like a certain Mr. Chiasquatch, but not really like him.
My Nanny's visiting from Missouri until I go back to school, and because we live in a central location, we have to walk every day to some new place. It's not as bad as I think it is, really. We finally got a Panda Express, which is good. The bad part? The weather has been either very cold, very windy, very rainy, or some awful combination of the three. So we can't walk there. Also, neither of us can drive. I don't have a permit yet, and she's a brittle diabetic whose sugar levels are so out of control that she's not allowed to drive. Oh well. Can't really do anything about it.
One more thing before I leave you. I have started to feel incredibly old lately. I know, I know. I have no right to think that because I'm a teenager, but it's true. My little cousin back in Missouri who is like the younger brother I never had is turning 10. 10?! I remember the day he was born, listening through the hospital door and hearing the first cries of little Seth Mitchell. Sure, I was only 5, but DANG!! Anyone else feel this way about a younger family member? Not your offspring, but just a relative.
Have a very happy New Year!!

* I was reading Beatles fanfiction and drinking sparkling cranberry juice out of a bottle. Wow. Just wow. This year, I was listening to the Resolution Revolution song. Much better.
