WOOD you like a box?
I've been dabbling in staining using henna paste for a while now. This is still a work in progress. After the paste sits for a few days I'll scrape it off and it will leave a faint design. I'm debating adding some of the traditional mehndi designs to it as well, but I'm not sure how that will look. O_o

I like the freehand, especially in the text. It lends a really homey feel to the thing. I've had a wooden box that I've been meaning to burn for a while, and now I finally have some inspiration as to what the heck I'm gonna put on it!

@Quinn - I tried using watercolor pencils and paper to make an image transfer, but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. It left only faint marks in random spots, but it was enough for me to work from. I ended up sketching most of the outline by hand, so it's not as accurate as I'd hoped. But I'm just being picky at this point, haha.
