Comment by Erin McMythical (EMc2) on February 15, 2013 at 8:32pm: Hey mythically musical beasts! Thought I'd join in the fun here! I played the recorder and flute in school years ago (still have my recorder from grade school just like Link and remember a few songs).
I picked up a guitar for the first time about 2 months ago after a lifetime of wanting to learn. I've been picking it up very quickly but I'm kind of stuck on barre chords right now, just trying to build up finger strength so I can play them.
On the team Fender vs team Gibson debate I choose neither. I'm a Gretsch gal, through and through. I have a gold sparkle Gretsch ProJet electric guitar and love it more than bacon (that's a lot!) I've also got an Art and Lutherie Cherrywood acoustic that feels like an extension of my body it's so perfect for me.
Nice to meet some more musicians! :)
