why don't we create a contest where everyone create his own mythical mask (like the cow i created)?

and maybe everyone create a video where he explain how he makes it!!! what you think?

@ Cee - - we generally just skip over the few folks who set their profile to private. I know how you feel, since I've literally posted a couple thousand WELCOME notes since beginning this project and hate to leave anybody out.  Since the WELCOME KOMMITTEE was officially formed on 09/14/10 almost 1,300 new members have joined with only a handful of private settings scattered about.

 

P.S.  I personally don't "friend" anybody . . . there are a select few who have come to know me a bit through exchanges and chats and can tolerate my brand of humor.  At their request, I created a group called "FOG" or "Friends of Gumbo" . . . consider that if you can still stand me after a few months.

One question ? Advice on How do we greet new people who already have their profiles set to private.   I feel bad they get left out   : (

but Its not practical to friend every new member just to greet them?
