Christianity is not a theory or speculation, but a life; not a philosophy of life, but a living presence.

Exodus 14:14

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Remember this in all things...relax, find comfort in knowing He is taking care of what you need...

That is good he will be closer to his mom. It amazes me how God can use a terrible thing for His glory. I hope the best for this couple. By reading the blog it sure looks like God is working in them and through them.

They are currently here in the hospital in Cary, NC. They are from southeast WA, but I don't know the town. I talked with Kathleen this morning, and the transfer now may be Monday to California. It will be a 7 to 8 hr. drive for Cale's mother to come visit, but a lot closer than cross-country! (his mother hasn't seen him since March.)

Wanted to thank you all for your prayers for my friend Deborah, who is back home and hopefully getting back to full strength from her bout with meningitis. I would like to have you get to know and pray for this other family and their situation. http://www.caledarling.blogspot.com/
Our church and I have had the blessing of getting involved with this young couple over the last 3 months, and they are soon to be headed out to outside San Fransisco very soon (Army transport). I know several of you and other Rhett and Link fans are from the Washington area, their home as well. Some of you may even know the family. I strongly encourage you to visit the blog, read about the accident, and follow some of Kathleen's blog entries. God is really working with them and through them, and her faith is AMAZING.

Cate and I did the same thing with our Youth group and a few others from out of town.
30 Hour Famine is a really cool experience.
Our youth group alone raised around $7,000
And all together we did about $11,000.
It was really neat, going door to door in our little communities and hearing the responses to this ministry :D
I personally loved it very much!

Taylor, that is a great thing you were involved in, and God used you and your friends to touch the hearts--and pockets--of others, for the benefit of others. Isn't it amazing how we can be blessed by sacrifice just as much if not more than those we are seeking to help!

30 hour famine is a very kool thing. It's been a few years that I did this. It's an eye opener. Thanks for sharing on how it effected you Taylor.
