What a great discussion idea!
I clicked hoping to read some cool superhero advise, but I guess I'll be the first one.
I would tell them:
embrace those weaknesses and call them uniquenesses
Put that on a t-shirt!!!!!!!
Now available at The Kommunity Store (a Gumbo.com production)
my mom owns a T-shirt buisness, and has some extra shirts. I'm gonna convince her to make this for me!
I'm being a bit serious here, but I'd say:
Stay humble.
Keep struggling to make the right decisions (or even to simply figure out what the right decision is).
Get a good group of loyal friends/family to support you and be there for you when the hidden identity is on and, more importantly, when it comes off.
Be brave and strong enough to give your enemies mercy.
3 words:
"Because I'm Batman!"
HISHE anyone?
Keep your secret identity a secret, but do tell people close to you that are sticking around, because sooner or later they will found out, and it might not be you that tells them. Also remember Batman's one rule, don't kill anyone. If you capture one of your super villains, make sure he is sent to a secure prison that they can't easily escape from. Don't let hatred from people and the police stop you, and keep crime fighting. Make sure you have an awesome outfit and name, an outfit that protects your identity and a name that doesn't sound like it came from a 3 year old. Always remember with great power comes great responsibility.
