Since November 2016, I, and a few other people, have been slowly working on a timestamped video guide for "The RhettandLinKast Live" shows that Rhett and Link produced in their basement studio in Lillington, North Carolina, from 2007-2009, some later ones in 2010.

I took inspiration from the "Rhett&Linkast Live...ReKaps" posts by Maxime Gregoire (Male Banshee), which are in the forum category, "ReKaps (Archives & Analysis from Beasts like You" (I've linked to the oldest discussion). 

I'm not taking anything away from that, since that's a part of the Kommunity history. Only so many episodes were recapped then, and there apparently was a Facebook group, but it is no longer active or available. I wanted to add something that would complement those ReKaps while being a little more specific for reference purposes. 

In case this is something that would interest you, feel free to participate. This could be an extra motivator for you to watch the Kasts if you haven't seen them yet! Even if you don't want to participate, you're welcome to enjoy this as a resource! This project is completely volunteer, there is no specific deadline for completion, and your work will be properly credited. All completed timestamps will be immortalized in a Group designed for this project for reference at a later date. 

Let me know in the comments which Kast you'd like to timestamp and I'll edit the discussion to include your name, similar to how the Ear Biscuit Transcription Project was set up. I use Google Docs or my computer's Word (Pages) program to work on this. Let me know how it would be easy for you to send your completed timestamps and we'll figure out how to set it up here. You could even put your timestamps on the Komm as a blog and I'll link your blog in the list. If you do a blog, make sure your settings are selected to "Everyone" under "Privacy & Comments" so it can be linked. (See completed Kast below.)

Tips: 

• The Kasts are available on Ustream.tv: http://www.ustream.tv/rhettandlink. You can see all of Rhett & Link's Ustream videos if you scroll down below the main video, which are ordered from most recent to oldest. Click "Show More" to keep going until you get to the oldest video. But, also, for your convenience, I have linked each Kast and non-Kast video they uploaded on Ustream in the list below. Most people have had problems viewing the Kasts in the past because they seem to not play on all browsers. I, and many people I know, have used Google Chrome to watch them.
• Some Kasts have playback issues and that has been noted in the list below. Do not timestamp them, but if they play for you and you can, feel free to work on them and let me know if they work. 
• Timestamps are written as the time in the video playback, example: "1:01:45" as the hour, minute and second of play. Most generally, "1:35" notes the minute and second. Some Kasts do not show the time like this, so instead use the actual Kast clock time as shown on screen, such as "9:00pm." Some videos have playback issues or don't show any time at all, so in that case, make a note of the issues and list the topic changes that occur. So far, I've been noting this as either "timestamps from video playback" or "timestamps from Kast clock on screen". I welcome any suggestions for wording. 
• Make a new timestamp for discussion topic changes; quotes (ones that stick out to you and/or would be/are memorable); segments; CBE/KBE contests including winners, honorable mentions, and finalists, if stated. See completed Kast as example. Other completed Kasts are noted. I've only posted one example for now to get started. Let me know if you need to see more. 
• Note the location of the Kast if different from the basement studio, which was in "Lillington, NC, the county seat of Harnett County, NC."
• Note any guests in the timestamps, whether present in the studio or in phone call segments. 
• If you’re mentioning a movie, TV show, book, segment, song, etc, follow this format: “The Future According to Rhett” segment or “In the Name of the King” movie.
• If you have any trouble with English (or Southern English), feel free to ask for help in trying to understand what they're saying or how to write something out. (I'm from the South, so I'll do my best to help! I'm not currently seeing any Closed Captioning options when viewing on Chrome.) :) 
• If you aren't sure of a name or other spellings, that's okay. Just put a question mark by it or something, and I, or perhaps anyone here, will look into and help you out.
• You can be as detailed and descriptive as you like, or you can write in short-hand, as long as it's generally understandable. 
• Put the name you'd like to use for yourself somewhere in your work, whether above or below it, as "completed by [your name]," and date it, if you like. 
• Please feel free to make suggestions or corrections, if needed, and ask questions if you need help.
