ok i got three idias 4 good wepons:
#1. cannon and grapeshot. ( if your gona go with a shot-gun u cant gent much better than that)
#2.baseball bat (alluminium bats or wooden ones would do, i suggest 1 for each hand)
#3. Sara Palin (shes so cute every zombie will want a peice. little did they know she was packed full of plastic explosivs! -

1. Semi-automatic 12 ga. rifled slug-gun
2. Any other firearm as long as you aim for the head

I have that book!! lol he also wrote a book called world war Z about what the world would be if a zombie outbreak happened. it was a pretty great book

I highly reccommend it to anyone who is a zombie freak.....
but it describes a Trench Knife that they used in the first World War to hellp with close hand to hand combat in trenches.
but i would choose this because over 90% of them have brass knuckles as a handle and the knife makes a clean cut.
the clean cut knife would allow it so if you stab it into the zombies head it would not get stuck and come out easier opposed to a seratted knife.
and the brass knuckles would allow you to deliver a sweet sucker punch right to the jaw or face area of the zombie..
*****REALLY***** I Highly reccommend the books that i mentioned...go to your local library or school library and see if the have it......It Is AMAZING******

I would probably want an AK 47 as my primary weapon
a hand gun as my secondary
and the trench spike of course as my close combat weapon
thats all I have thought of so far =P

i would probably go with a 38. pistol...something that isn't a huge caliber but not something too small... followed probably by a trench knife (got that idea from the zombie survival guide) plus theyre both more of light weight weapons, which is a big plus...

Even though I know that it is said that the sword dudes would go first, I'm one of those sword dudes. Don't worry, I'd pick seppuku over infection. ^^ Anyways, my primary weapon of choice would be the German longsword, though If I could pick secondaries, it would fall with my wakizashi, dagger, and tomahawk. All also go with the "Why?" question. These are weapons I'm comfortable with; and though I'm proficient with a firearm, I feel that if we're all going down, I might as well enjoy myself while I'm at it. Melee combat for the win!

A blunt weapon (Like a pipe, baseball bat, cricket bat, ect), a sharp weapon (Machete most likely), and a few long range weapons that are easy to maintain, reload, and find ammo for so a bow and arrow or homemade trebuchet.

I would use a Sniper Rifle with a silencer. Good for camping up in mountains. A silencer is to make sure no zombies come and investigate the noise...
Brass Knuckles with sharp edges.
And a Katana.
