French Toast?
yes, this is random. but it is something on my mind, so don't judge me.
we all know the popular breakfast, French toast. the warm bread with eggs and the ever-so optional cimmanin(i was never able to pronounce that correctly...) on it. but is it better than REGULAR toast, crunchy, warm bread with nothing on it except butter?
and also, do you have any good recipes for either? i wanna know!
and ONE MORE THING...is French toast REALLY from France?

I love french toast . Whenever I go to my favorite breakfast place, that is always what i order is their french toast. I'm not sure about any recipies but i like to use texas toast, or some kind of cinammon bread. I usually just dip it in some eggs, and a little bit of vanilla extract. And, as far as I know, I think that French toast might be from Rome.

In French class I learned that they call it pain perdu (Dead/Lost bread), because if the bread would go bad so they can just made it into what we know of as, FRENCH TOAST!

French toast is amazing. An awesome recipe my mom has made many times is Stuffed French toast which is two pieces of the delicious toast with fruit and some kind of filling there's a ton of awesome recipes for it.
Also Ciabatta bread makes an excellent French toast. Much better then just regular bread.

I prefer regular toast; never been much of a french toast guy.
