We were being so mythical that we crashed Tweak's server! They are working on fixing that as soon as possible.
Tweak's Facebook update: Good riddance. We don't know if you know this but...Rhett and Link got the TWEAK train moving so fast today that our server crashed due to so many of you trying to click the TWEAK Design tab. Don't fret though. TWEAK is getting set up on a server so powerful the leaders of the world aren't even aware of it. Keep checking back.

I LOVE the idea of having their sillohuette faces on the soles (Rhett on the right foot, Link on the left for irony like Mya (The Galumphing Cephalopod) was saying). Hilarious!
Glad you like the layering...I thought it was nifty too. :D

I think regardless of which style of shoe is chosen, the bottom sole should have some sort of mythical looking footprint design sticking out, similar to what Kathryn suggested (like those flip flops that leave duck prints behind when you walk in them). Amber (The Phoenicorn)'s idea is also neat; I like the layering of the show canvas and the word 'Beast' printed on the back heal, and while I think the seal on the side is neat, I don't know if that makes it too chuck taylor-y (as those shoes already have a circular seal there) seeing as they're gonna be designing a whole new shoe. I dunno though.
I'll post some of my own ideas when I get a chance. -

Well, I know my Mythical shoe would have to say: "hey... I am a Mythical Beast that likes to draw stuff and, on occasion, that stuff is Rhett&Link" Thus far I have only had time to draw Mythical bottoms for said Mythical shoes... I rather like them... they have dually functional "R" and "L" s to help y'all remember which foot goes where and to identify who's who... also I pictue a tread pattern of the Randler imprinted all over the dark green bit of the shoe (just didn't have the time to add that element! lol) Well, fellow beasts... here's hoping I have time this week to draw up the tops of my shoes... I always wanted shoes that light up in some fashion... hmmmmmm -

Yes, I like the animal prints idea a lot. Cartoon Rhett&Link should definately be on it too, but not on the under part in my opinion.

Here are some idea doodles/sketches. I'm kinda in a rush, so I'll work on more later. Both soles would say 'mythical,' but I just didn't do that here for some reason. The shoe design on the left with the face would prolly be the blue instead of the white I left it (on the side view) but I dunno. The creature in the upper right is unrelated (I just like drawin'), the left hand side has some possible wing ideas for the idea on the bottom right.

i think the shoe should be a convertible shoe. it could be a flip flop and sneaker. the top part would be the sneaker, and it could come off with velcro, really strong velcro. on the outside of the sneaker and the top of the flip flop, it would be covered with miniature versions of the log for Rhett and Link.

I think it should be simple, a high top with both your faces on one side and a unicorn one the other side.
