Thank you Rhett and Link. I feel educated and at ease - it bugged me not knowing the context of this craze and now I look forward to the best versions of the video. So far the GMM is one of two that I've chosen to see and they are the best - YEAH!!! :)

It speaks to my dedication to Rhett and Link that I watched this episode of GMM despite my distinct efforts to avoid this meme altogether. There was a brief moment during which I contemplated not watching the episode. :P Was a bit sad about no wheel ending, although I suppose it counts as "choosing" one, since I've seen lots of comments requesting them to do the harlem shake for a wheel option.

I absolutely feel the same way - YEAH!!! :)

until today my eyes have been unmarred by horrible pelvic thrusts to dance music, thanks GMM....also, thankyou for NOT including them in your dance.

I hate harlem shake--but this is pretty freakin awesome.

Even though it needs the meme as context, I think Jason's Harlem Shake Fail video is the best I've seen. I'd probably like these better if I didn't hate the song.

Thanks man!

I VOTED!

Yeah I hate the song, its probly becoming the new gangnam style. Just about everyone I'm subscribed to on YouTube is making a Harlem Shake vid---and I hate it!!!

Gumbo's favorite - - - > GEAUX TIGERS!

(2nd attempt -- first one crashed)

Evidence of the old adage . . . "Anything worth doing is worth overdoing!"

FYI - - - > This is on one of the entrance ramps leading to the P-Mac and right next to Mike the Tiger's habitat enclosure.  LSU Stadium in the background.

View at full screen and max HD quality to see:

  • Pac-man fleeing ghosts
  • Bane fighting Batman
  • Assassin's Creed guy killing a dude
  • bicycle thrown off the bridge at 0:19
  • hooded guy jumps off the bridge 0:21
  • Mardi Gras beads flying everywhere

I appreciate Link's comment on how the people who go out of their way to "hate on" a particular trend are trying just as hard and are just as much a part of the craze as those who are celebrating it.

Like, seriously... when I don't like something, I just don't partake in it.  Not a big deal.  lol

I've never felt the need to proclaim to the world that what is popular is "stupid" and "must be stopped."   It is just two differing opinions trying equally hard to be on the "cool" side of a trend.
