Did she watch other videos or just that one? Because when my brother introduced me to R and L I felt a little lukewarm about them. But when he showed me Caption Fail I was hooked and now I love all their videos. If you've shown her others then you may just have to agree to disagree. Or get a new best friend. :) Just kidding about that last one.

I've noticed (from a bit of experience) that its takes a few good videos to get a friend into Rhett and Link. ;) But I will warn you, try not to over do it, or you might just make it worse D:

I know how you feel. Sadly, I have let this same factor (and a few other things) tear apart a friendship I had (but I won't get into that)
I think the thing needed here is acceptance. I still have NO CLUE how his friend didn't like Rhett and link. Her examples were
Not funny
Bad singers
Stupid videos
I was shocked. The opposite of this is exactly why I AM a mythical beast now. One of my best mythical beast friends now was skeptical at the beginning, because she thought that the other friend who hated them was right. So, I just accepted that, but later, in an email, I was talking about how school sucked ETC, and she said "just out on a Nilla wafer top hat and everything will be alright" I was paralyzed. Later, I pursuaded her to subscribe, and now, she watches GMM every day, AND we are both singing Rhett and link songs for a choir audition.
So, it is possible to transform someone. I say, acceptance, and slowly start making references, I suggest quoting Julian's video, Waffles, a lot, considering they are in it, and perhaps one day, you will hear a reference.

I live near Rhett and Link so when they put out a open call for their video (that is supposed to be posted today) I gathered my friends so we could all partake in the fun. One of my friends had no idea who Rhett and Link were, so to get him hooked I had him watch 2 guys 600 pillows, My Hair, and Caption Fail. This gave him a good overview of what they do and he became a fan.
I hope you are able to show your friend more than just one video. The draw is in their diversity. Make sure to show your friend Epic Rap Battle.
