I Louisiana we start out 6-month olds on a bottle of Tabasco Sauce with a nipple.

Come to think of it, that probably explains the need for this product:

im from louisiana and my papaw used to put tabasco sauce on my pacifier to ween me off of it.. no joke! bad thing is.. i loved it and asked him to put more on it lol

we used to put that on my cousin's thumb to get him to stop sucking his thumb and we put it on my sister's fingers because she was always chewing them. And it has great healing qualities because of the peppers. If you put tobasco on a cut it will heal faster.
