I live near Champaign which is a campus-town in central Illinois.

Pros about Illinois
-Sweet Corn Festivals
-Smuggling fireworks from Indiana
-Exploring Chicago

Cons about Illinois
-Very flat and a tad boring
-Our politicians are corrupt
-Outsiders pronounce the 'S' in Illinois

Overall it's a great place to live even though it isn't a suburb of Chicago. Lets hear that Illinoise!

I don't know much about Illinois actually. but I am from Chicago and it's a great and popular city. Not like LA or NY but still lively, diverse, cultural, festive, and musical.

We like to dance here a lot. Chicago is known for making House music popular. and of course we're known for our blues joints and what not, and the mafia stories. I think Abraham Lincoln liked it here.

anyway, to me it's just home, a pretty city than can get a bit too gray somedays, but the people are nice for the most part, a little less in a rush, and will usually give you pretty good directions and say hello.

I hope to see Rhett and Link here one day. and make a commercial for me and my practice. I help people manage their brains. can you up someting with that??? ^_^

Lived here all my life! And strangely, I've only been to Chicago once so far...Illinois: The state with Chicago, but not much else.

I have also lived in Illinois my whole life. I live in oswego. (Actually I live inbetween Oswego, Yorkville, and Bristol and if you don't know where that is it's right next to aroura.) (45 minutes from Chicago by train.) But I don't think it's very boring.
