Ohio [17th to join the Union]

Sarcastic weather-beaten citizens of "the heart of it all" greet you all: Welcome to Ohio. Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes.

Home to Cedar Point, The Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Cleveland Cavaliers. (now now, let's not waste time squabbling over Lebron) the Browns (oh, also Ohio State of course, but I could really care less about football. How unpatriotic of me (?) Indians, Columbus Crew AND Relient K. (Betcha didn't know that!)

My sisters and I used to wonder how boring of a place to go for vacation in Ohio, but really, if you love history, there's so much here. I've been to all the homes of presidents from the state except Taft and Harding.

Our family has been to various museums, (such as Armstrong Air and Space) and multiple forts and villages. We also enjoy educational vacations and trips (yes, we're homeschooled) to fun hands-on places like the Great Lakes Science Center and let's not forget the great Zoos.

I don't think we're boring. But then again, that's just me.

I love it here, personally. A lot of people prefer different types of weather, and to each his own, but my preference is right here in the snow belt.

O-H! I- well you get it. Yup, I live in Ohio too. I've never been farther east then half way to Columbus but I've lived here all my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world... except maybe a place with better weather.

You gotta love Ohio. We get blizzards, scorchers, and monsoon season all in the same week! I live smack in the middle of Ohio's Eastern border w/ PA, and the weather gets pretty crazy sometimes. My grandpa gets frustrated cause he says the weather men can never get the weather right. But then again, who can blame 'em!

Just yesterday my friends and I were complaining about how it was pouring down rain and the weather people didn't even warn us when I finally said; "wait guys...we can't really blame them. This is Ohio you know." :)

I live near Toledo, but am from MI and I always hear the "wait 5 min for the weather to change" quote up there as well.

Mid-North mid West Ohio baby! I must live in a pretty tame area in Ohio, my weather doesn't get half as exciting as most of the thread.

WOOHOO! Go Ohio. I have to say, I like the Columbus Zoo. I mean, it's got A WATER PARK!!!! Who doesn't like water parks? Well.. unless you have a water phobia....
