T-shirt Ideas
I think it is important that we have T-shirts for the Mythical Beasts. I saw that somebody commented on the forum that discussed what our name should be, that they would like a t-shirt that says, "I'm a Mythical Beast" I think that would be an awesome shirt. Are there any other ideas?

I was thinking about the t-shirt phenomenon known as the "Three Wolf Moon" t-shirt, you know, the t-shirt sold on Amazon that is of three wolves howling at the moon? It became an overnight sensation because of all the hilarious product reviews about it (link posted below). It even inspired a hilarious YouTube video (click "customer reviews" after you hit the link then scroll down to see the video).
Once we have RandLer drawn, I would love to see someone do a similar t-shirt design, with RandLer, Rhett, and Link all "howling" or looking up at that moon. With the words "Mythical Beasts" on the back. I'd love to see somebody design that! I just KNOW a Mythical Beast t-shirt like this will hold similar mythical powers!

I've got a mental image of the RandLer in silhouette, no details on the image, just a solid-color silhouette. That of course, depends on what the RandLer ends up looking like, 'cos not everything translates well to such a simple image.
There would have to be some sort of sassy/silly/what-the-heck?-type tag line too, either around the image or on the back.
some random off-the-cuff ideas:
"Mythical Beasts - not just for kids and crazy folks"
"I roll Mythical"
"What's that sound? It's a Mythical Beast" (kinda 'borrowed' that one from RR)
"Mythical Beasthood - all the cool kids are doing it"
"There is a Mythical Beast in each of us"
"I'm a Mythical Beast - that's just how I RandL"
or something like that...with all the creative people that we have in the community, I'm sure someone can come up with the perfect catch phrase.

I like your ideas. Keep thinking of things like that. I would like more people in the community to get on here and post their ideas. I like the idea of just saying "I'm a mythical beast." But I also really like your idea, "there's a mythical beast in all of us."

My hope is that Rhett and Link will take our ideas and find the most popular one and make a t-shirt that we can buy from them on-line. I love the idea of Rhett and link howling to the moon. I think it could be their two heads on one body so they look like a mythical beast of their own, but just have their faces be the outline that you see at the top of this page, you know their little logo faces.

Soooo....I was in Kroger the other day, and the gentleman standing in front of me in line was stylin'. He had a cowboy hat, handlebar mustache, and a black t-shirt with not one, two, or three, but eight wolves on it. (I nearly proposed to him on the spot. Then I remembered that Kroger was prolly not the best place to meet my next ex-fiance.) Oh, and it made me think of this discussion.
