I saw them on Outrageous Acts of science and that led me to watch them on the youtube
My partner has watched GMM on and off for years. Late last year-ish would be when my brain started to really register that this was a recurring thing he was watching, and early this year would be when I started to actually pay attention. It wasn't long after starting the "pay attention" phase that it turned into an "actively watch episodes myself" phase. Well, I say that, but it kinda went straight to "part of my daily routine" :o) The only days I don't watch GMM/More on the day are when I've been bedridden with a migraine.
I'm definitely late to the party, but better late than never!
I found them fairly recently, in probably 2016 on The Tonight Show when they played "Will It Tea?" with Jimmy Fallon. It was hilarious, so I looked them up on YouTube. I really only regularly watch Rhett and LInk's channels, Buzzfeed for the Try Guys (love them!), and Kid Snippets, where adults play out their kids' made-up stories, with the kids' voices. All leave me in tears of laughter. Of course I also watch cat videos. ;) I love that between those channels, there is always something out there that will bring me joy.
I think it wasn't till I saw them on Fallon in 2016 or something. I wish I could have been a fan since 2006 or earlier!! But I've just about binged everything they've ever done on the interwebs now, so I consider myself a proud Mythical Beast. They are a part of my daily routine, and they always will be. :)
Someone showed me the facebook video back in 2008, been watching since.
I discovered them around 2010 when I was in middle school bc they were talking about something we were learning about. I didn’t really remember them but I was reunited with them in 2012 and I’ve watched them everyday ever since!
Hello -
I admit... I'm a brand new Mythical Beast! I'm sure I'm out of R&L's normal demographic, age wise, but I've only been watching them for the past month or so. I'm in the UK, so sadly they are not as on the radar here in the regular media as they are in the states. I kept getting a recommendation come up on my YT channel, so eventually I decided to click. That was it. Am now trying to catch up all the previous output, and enjoying the new output - I'm especially enjoying the Ear Biscuits and the Book of Mythicality. Thanks to the humour and fun, but also the whole Mythical mindset, something I'm in need of at the moment. Perhaps Rhett is right about free will after all ;)
