Best Time to Arrive

I’m going to the Tour of Mythicality in Atlanta, and I’m super excited! I recently went to the SYSK Live show at the Buckhead Theatre (in part to scope out the venue). Since there’s no assigned seating, I’d really like to get a spot near the stage or in the front of the venue.

For those who have been to one of the previous stops, does anyone have any idea about a good time to show up and get in line? I’d hate to kill an entire day waiting in line, but I also don’t want to be in the waaaaay back of the room.Would it make sense to get in line right after the Beasts for the 3 p.m. show go inside the venue, or is that too soon? Would two hours before show start be sufficient? I’m open to any ideas that you guys have, and thank you in advance for your help!

I went to the show in DC and arrived just about an hour and a half before the doors officially opened. There was already a line, but it was relatively short at that point. Later on it stretched way down the street.

VIP ticket holders will get entry before general admission, so they'll get first pick of seats anyway (unless your venue assigned VIP seats)...depending on how many VIPs are at your venue, many of the front seats could be taken by the time general admission gets in. I had VIP entry, but my friends who arrived at the theater slightly before me and were in the general admission line said it didn't take them long to get into the seating area once the doors opened. I suspect it'll depend heavily on your venue's setup and the number of VIPs, but I'd say two hours ahead of time should get you good seats. Maybe bump it up to 2.5 if you're really concerned.
