MASSACHUSETTS - "The Bay State"

I live here!

For anyone that hasn't been to MA, it's a great place! Just for Boston alone the trip would be worth it. Especially because of all our rich history!

You can go to Plymouth Plantation and visit where the Mayflower landed! Or the Salem Witch Museum where they chronicle the life and times of witches who were put on trial and HUNG (hanged?)

There's also the Freedom Trial in Boston where you get to visit such places as Paul Reveres' house. Not interesting enough? Come aboard the USS Constitution: a warship, two centuries old.

Another favorite is Old Sturbridge Village. It's an Old New England village circa the 1830's, that you can walk around in! The workers there tell you about it's history, talk with the language of the 1830's and dress like it too!

I love it here, it never gets dull =]

Yeah, Lynn and Medford are my least favorite places in Massachusetts. Lexington, Concord, Cambridge and Boston are very nice places though.

I live in Ludlow, MA which is considered a section of Western MA (which is considered hickville to anyone from Eastern MA where Boston onward is). Anyone else out there from the Springfield area...that isn't dangerous and/or scary???

Old Sturbridge Village is the best! There's all sorts of cool activities. And Boston is one of the artsiest cities, its very very beautiful! Plus good pizza!

Western MA isn't scary just to clear things up for anyone who thinks so. 413 represent! West Side! Out here in western mass we really don't have that accent. We sound like your average good morning America newscaster. I was raised in west Springfield. I currently live in south Hadley. I'm 32 and own a preschool in Indian orchard, which is next to ludlow. I have also lived in Framingham, natick, and Ashland. Many friends from all over. From Pittsfield/the berkshires to the cape. MA is a great state from one end to the other. So beautiful, mountains, vallies, beaches, farms, city life....good people, good music, good food could go on and on. I love living here. Let's here it for Massachusetts! Anyone else from western MA? Or anywhere in MA? I'm new to the kommunity. Let's be friends!
