It's a brilliant alternative way to give some love to the mythical beasts who aren't able to be sponsored by Make-A-Wish. So heartwarming.

I think it is one of the most positive, fun emails I have ever received  (I actually hate checking my email now because it's all work-related, or bad spam, or other yucky stuff).  It brightened my day and reminded me to stop hating things :)

Plus, I learned some things...

I grew up in Harrisburg, PA, and we had a Burlington Coat Factory there, too.  I always thought Burlington Coat Factory was from Burlington Vermont, because it is a cold place (hence coats).  AND...as a big smoothie fan, looking forward to the new recipe to try.  I should share my own patented recipe sometime.

Also laughed pretty hard at the soda drinker pro thing :)

Same here, I pretty much only check my e-mail to verify other online accounts haha. The smoothie looks very delicious! It's kind of hard for me to get almond milk and protein powder in my local supermarket but I'll definitely give it a shot. You should share your recipe with Link, Rhett too, I bet they would appreciate it :)
Hello everyone!
Umm.. I'm kind of upset I still haven't received the monthly newsletter QwQ. I went to the website and followed the instructions but still didnt. Am I the only one? I wanna know if anyone knows if there is anything I can do to get it? I checked spam folder and primary nothing. I really wanna read it. Hope asomeone can help me. Thanks! :)

Sorry to hear that. :( Did you ever receive an email to confirm your email address? Without that, you won't receive the newsletter.

I believe the full process is: Sign up at www.rhettandlink.com/mythicalmonthly, receive an email, follow the email instructions and click to confirm your email address, then get taken to a final confirmation page. Once all that is done, you should be officially on the mailing list.

My only suggestion is to try again, although unfortunately you wouldn't receive February's newsletter at this point.

Everyone who correctly completed the sign up process received the first newsletter at the same time. Only one release so they all send at same time. As you can see below, you're definitely not the only one who thought they were signed up but are not.

I'd gladly share the first newsletter with you here, but unfortunately didn't save the message and my trash box is already emptied.

1 - - if you never received a confirmation e-mail after sign up, to which you need to REPLY in order to activate the subscription mailing (this process is to prevent others from signing you up for things you don't want), then you should just sign up again.  It should be a much smoother process now that the rush is over. I think the sheer volume of MBs replying actually crashed the system in the first couple of days after initial announcement.

2 - - if you did receive a confirmation e-mail and replied appropriately, then try checking your JUNK MAIL folder and follow the tip below from R&L's recent Facebook post

I believe you should be able to read the first email here: http://us14.campaign-archive1.com/?u=24a82f4a041c0842dc8134aa2&...

Thanks everyone for the help. I did receive the link to confirm my subscription. It said I was signed up. Oh wells I shall wait for next month's newsletter, and I'll be on the lookout. And thank you so much Kevin for the link I was able to read it! :D thanks again everyone!

I dont know why but I haven't received anything yet, it says I'm already signed up..
