Hey guys! Please reply if you plan to come! Hammonasset is a nice place for a meet-up, the beach is great for a whole family to hang out. If the weather's nice, I also suggest bathing suits and sunscreen :)

I'm not sure if there will be a parking fee, but drop-offs are definitely free. The state park is pretty large, so we'll have to find a specific location! 

Hope y'alls can all make it, and thanks for being your mythical best!

Hello fellow CT Mythical Beasts! I would love to join you guys for Mythicon however, I have a question. I live in New Haven and have to use the city bus to get to places. I've never been that far on the city buses before. Would any of you know how to get there from New Haven?

@ AmazingMel - - - I couldn't find anything on the CT Transit website, so I just mapped it out on Bing Maps, and saved train and bus travel, both leaving from center city New Haven . . . looks like either way you would have a 2-mile+ walk to and from the park and the nearest transit station, unless the bus would make an "unscheduled stop" somewhere a bit closer . . . I'm fairly certain that the train will make no such accommodation.

Hello! I would love to partake in this meetup! I was just wondering if there was already a set place within the park where we would meet up? If not, may I suggest the bathroom/food stand area on the beach? I've been to this beach before, and I believe that it will be a good place to gather and meet up. Yay, I'm not the only Mythical Beast in CT. 

I'll come, but I'll be coming from a Edible/Medicinal plant and Qi Gong walk in Middletown, so not sure if I'll be there exactly by 1:00 pm 

I'll wear my GMM Shirt.

Found out there is a Fee to Park/Get in. Maybe we can meet before the Toll both thing and see how many people we can fit in one car.
