Last year it was just my family and one other beast from north of Lansing. We held ours at a bowling alley and it was a blast. We have a mini wheel that we made, blind folds and some other things. If you are in the downriver area maybe you can help by calling a few bowling alleys to see what openings they have that would be great as we work and are busy during the day. Maybe try calling Skore and Woodhaven Lanes if you could please if not let me know and I will see what I can do.

Glad to see that you are involved in MythiCon-Detroit. Since you have so gratiously volunteered to take up the hosting spot (you did, din't you???) the header above and BatchGEO map tool will now list you as primary contact. The original propose host has been MIA for quite a while and others are scrambling, as you can see.

Since I'm not familiar with the Detroit area outside of downtown and Greektown it wouldn't help if I suggested anything . . . it's all up to you, Mallory and the others to pick a spot that is convenient and accommodating. I'll keep an eye out here as the planning continues and update the header as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, Ray Carlos (Igneous Tuto Nyctea) just now reports he will be unable to continue with the resurgence effort for a MythiCon gathering in either the Detroit or Lansing area due to last minute and unavoidable family conflict.

This means your once again without a host and still no site selection, so it looks like you'll either have to scramble amongst yourselves or wait until next year.
