So....I know very little about Rhett and Link. However, my daughter is a MASSIVE fan. Since this meet up seems to have fallen apart a bit, I am willing to be a host for one here in the Raleigh area. Please respond if there is still interest. I was thinking maybe meeting in front of the Dragon at the Dragon Park in Cary? That is maybe a little more central for people from all over the Triangle.

If I get a few responses today, then I will be happy to "officially" set something up. Thanks.

Hi Leslie I live in north Raleigh and would definitely want to help out! I was thinking Moore Square in downtown that way its an easy drive from everywhere around the triangle.

FYI - - according to the City or Raleigh website, the arts district area which includes Moore Square is about to undergo some (much needed & long overdue) renovation and construction program. Starting in September the square is scheduled to be closed down for at least a year, which means they might already have some areas blocked off.

You might want to read the advisory below and the Trip Advisor and Yelp reviews  before making a final decision.

I have some concerns about Moore Square outside of this anyway. The parking down there is terrible. I think we are going to set this up at a park in Cary. I will send you all the details directly in a few minutes.

Hey, guys. I can't go this weekend due to my mom being sick and going to the doctor a lot, but I have a few friends in Raleigh and asked one of them for advice on where to go. He recommended Moore Square and said a lot of events are usually hosted there. Also Nash square. He said Nash was small and usually pretty empty and might be a better choice. I live in Sanford, so one in Raleigh would be way easier to get to than Dallas!!

Amanda - - you're between two sites . . . just to clarify, are you proposing a 3rd meeting in the Carolinas or offering to attend / co-host one of those?

South Carolina - Greenville - - about 80 miles to your southwest - - being hosted by Casey (SomethingInvolvingAGoat)

Raliegh-area (possibly Fuquay-Varina), NC - - about 185 miles to your northeast - - Calvin had to bail due to conflicting schedule, but others above are discussing a resurrection of that meeting.
