THE WISH LIST IS NOW CLOSED!
Feel free to browse around the 70+ comments posted on this thread, but as the event date is quickly approaching it is not feasible to ask anyone to start a local meeting in an unplanned area so you can attend.
On the other hand, if you are certain that you CAN and WILL host a new meeting, just post your request HERE so an event discussion page can be created. Please give as much detail as possible including location name, address, Facebook event page, etc.
No promises! however, if you can not or will not host a local MythiCon event but you are wishing that someone would take up the cause and throw a party that you can attend, leave a quick note here.
Who knows? it might encourage someone to step out and host a get together if they knew there was enough interest for one in their home town or nearby.

As the MythiCon 2016 coordinator, I will not be monitoring this page for requests. This is simply the place where you and fellow MBs to start a discussion and express an interest, hopefully to encourage a potential host.

I am in Utah. Last year the girl the who normally host it didn't show up last year. I think she forgot. Life happens. I was wondering if anyone else form Utah is interested in Mythicon. If the girl that did it before can't host, I might try. There is a park right across from me that might be a good place to meet up. But the old park is good too. I am not sure if this is the right place to ask. I have no idea how Mythicon works other than hang out and talk about Rhett and Link awesomeness!

Hey, Tragica (f.k.a. KewtKitty, right?) - - - I sent a message to Clara (Star-Nosed Platyphant (host from 2014 and 2015) but haven't heard back from her yet. If you could contact her by end of week that's good, if not and you are willing to pick up the hosting position I'll go ahead and create a Utah-SLC area event page by this Friday either way so you (and she) can get the discussion and plans rolling.

yeah I changed my name haha...but yeah we can see what we can do. I am not even sure what I can could do but still just talking about rhett and link is one of my favorite past times!

Hey I don't think I'll be able to host one in Salt Lake City Utah, but if there are some MB's that are willing to host, that would be great! Me and my friend are so excited to go!
