Thinking of hosting...
I am thinking of hosting, but i am unsure about what goes on during it, how
long it lasts, and basically what to expect. Can anyone who either went or
planned one, chime in with this...Thanks!

i've hosted twice before and am hosting again this year--in general plan for about two hours of just meeting and talking with other rhett and link fans! some hosts like to have trivia or other little games, but I haven't gotten much mileage out of those. then again, neither mythicon i've hosted has been uh, typical, considering how at the first one, we ended up trapped between two protest groups.

oh wow. I was thinking of meeting at a park, and blasting rhett and link playlist...maybe a small potluck... but i dont know.

Meet-ups have occurred everywhere from parks to mall food courts to bowling alley to the lighthouse featured in the MAINE MAN video. MythiCon is whatever and wherever you want it to be . . . JUST DO IT!

Additionally, for yourself and anyone who happens upon this thread . . . here are the "host idea & helps" threads from previous years. All the information and advice given there still holds true.
