It's so sad to hear that he passed away. But I can't imagine what Rhett and Link are going through.
I mean, I cried at the hairdressers because of it and I'm just a casual fan of him (and I'm by no means a crier) whereas Rhett and Link idolized this man. He has been their hero since they were 14.
At least they got to meet him before he died. He will be missed.

I logged in tonight just because I heard the news on reddit, and I knew how important Merle was to Rhett and Link. Much love and comfort.
They're great musicians in their own right, and from what they say, this fellow is the reason they even ever tried.
