The wild North American Nan grazes exclusively on four-leaf clovers - - the three-leaf variety lacks the requisite "lucky charm" nutrient essential to a healthy nan diet. This is the reason that four-leafers are so difficult to find, even for seasoned clover hunters. Luckily, due to their relative size, one clover will sustain a single nan for an entire year or an average 50-nan herd for up to a week.
