Hi Julia,
Yep, I'm from NH also. Bennington, right next to Crotched Mtn. Ski Area.
We also used to have a natural granite rock formation know as the Old Man Of The Mountain.
After many years of taking care of it so it wouldn't crumble and fall, it finally did a few years ago.
The profile of the Old Man is a major NH logo and it's on our highway signs and tons of other places.
It's also on our 25 cent state quarter.
Oh well, life goes on.
