Is it just me or did it seem like Rhett didn't know what a "widow's peak" was? If so, I find that a little ironic considering he's got a pretty prominent one, haha.

In all fairness, I hadn't heard the term "widow's peak" until I was in my college biology class. During the section on dominant/recessive genes my professor gave us a list of things that were dominant traits, such as the "widow's peak." A "widow's peak" is when your hairline is pointed at the center as opposed to being straight across. I've always wondered how common that term is; I'm fairly sure no one in my family knew it.

I went back and watched that part about the widow's peak and noticed Stevie says something right before R&L launch into the idea -- it turns out she's the who suggests "Widow's Peak" and also says "and you can do it on a mountain" (or something like that). So we can blame Stevie. ;)

I also learned what a widow's peak was in biology class because we were studying dominant and recessive genes, Punnet squares, etc...although I think it was in middle school for me. My 7th grade science teacher actually brought guinea pigs to keep in class specifically to breed them, for this lesson...I don't know if this was a normal 7th grade experience, haha.

Ah, that makes sense. I could tell that someone off camera had suggested it, but the speakers on my computer are not good enough for me to hear what was actually said.

I did the Punnet squares and such in middle school as well, but they hadn't mentioned widow's peak. My college biology class was just an intro class, so everything was pretty basic. In the lab portion of the class my professor had us play a game he called the "shallow end of the gene pool." We each had a list of dominant and recessive traits. The more dominant traits each student had, the higher the score. I was among the highest scorers in the class considering my dark hair and eyes, widow's peak, and hitchhiker's thumb, haha.

So here's a question -- why is the thumbnail a couple in a washing machine?? Did I miss something? >.>

Ya, the thumbnail doesn't exactly seem to fit the episode, except that they look like they could be a couple. But I do think it's a pretty funny picture ;)

This episode was originally titled (on first date aired) as How To Fall In Love With Anyone and had the following thumbnail pic:
