I would But I Can't, I think Roman Catholic Churches don't have bands... :)
I play keys and violin in my youth group's band.
I played bass guitar in our youth group worship before I moved and now I'm possibly going to play at my new church. Our old worship leader is a punk rock musician so we did interesting versions of songs, It would be funny to see him playing on sunday morning when he had to be more conservative.
I played in a worship band for about 3 years, had to quit because I couldn't deal with having to wake up early every sunday! In retrospect one of the best jobs I've ever had.
I was a pianist/fill in organist at my old church. At my current church, a bit more non-traditional one, I am the section leader of the keyboards
I do! I play keys (usually my midi keyboard with mac but sometimes the RD700 and Nord) and I sing. (:
i play in a worship band well i sing but i am learning the bass so if the bass player is sick i will take over
i play guitar for my church worship band
I play the drums at my church. It's pretty fun.
I play the piano and sing when my youth group puts on a performance :)
I used to play the flute in my church orchestra, as well as singing in the choir, back when we had choir and orchestra. It gradually turned into a "worship band" with more of a jazzy style, and they still had me on flute, but then that dwindled down to just guitars, drums and keyboard - no more brass or woodwinds. For the last 8 years or so, I've been able to use my main gifts - playing piano and singing every Sunday morning at a convalescent home for a small worship service before heading to church. I really love playing all the good "old" hymns, and the seniors really enjoy it, too!
