The NYC Subway Guy was not entertaining at all, just super annoying! I guess it was unbelievable . . . from the point that he would actually think anyone enjoyed his "performance".

Of all the different buskers I've seen in travels, my favorite must be The World Famous Bush Man of San Francisco. Sadly, he died earlier this year after over 30 years of entertaining onlookers in the Fisherman's Wharf area. . . only seldom would he get a tip from the person who being "scared", but always from the generous and grateful crowds that would gather nearby or across the street to watch and video the scene. He rarely (and, I suspect, never intentionally) targeted the elderly or small children, and is always polite to the crowd whether they were in a tipping mood or not.

There are now 2 or 3 "Bush Men" in San Francisco and several others entertaining the crowds in major cities across the country. Just search on YouTube if you're really interested. Some are definitely better than others, but David Johnson was and always will be the best and THE ORIGINAL

Nearly everybody loved him, but there's always ONE BAD GUY in the crowd . . .

It seemed more like conceptual performance art (in the contemporary art vein) to me...I wasn't under the impression that he was really doing it for entertainment or money.

and how "WORLD FAMOUS" do you ask?

I usually try to grab the best screen shot available and have on occasion had to cobble something together myself, but today's WOM intro from Jeanette, Melissa & Natalie (Tensed, Idaho) was one of the worst ever . . . no way to capture all three in a single shot and too shaky to edit / photoshop together . . . I'm just going to grab this shot for the Season 6 poster compilation instead

YES! thanks Anil
