Dear prayer partners,
I received this urgent request for prayer today from someone in the Tacoma 40 Days for Life.
I have removed any personally identifying info.
Please read this plea and then take a moment to lift this young lady up in prayer.
God bless you all

ATTENTION URGENT LIFE ALTERING PRAYER REQUEST
Christians,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this, but I am reaching out for prayer again for someone wrestling with an abortion decision. One of the female sailors in my division (group of sailors I am in charge of at work), just found out that she is 7 weeks pregnant. She is not married. She is scheduled to leave our command this summer in order to go to see with the Navy. There is a possibility that if she keeps the baby, she will not be able to accept the orders and that could lead to negative career implications. All of the above and more have got to be weighing on her.
She has said that she will make a decision by FRIDAY.
I have not had the opportunity to talk with her yet, but I am hoping to do so tomorrow. She is probably around 19 or 20.
Please stand in the gap for this little baby because his/her life is in danger. I do not know what else to say other than those receiving this email have prayed for a similar situation two and a half years ago.
I was reminded today just how important prayer is. It is more important than any words that can be said. If you remember the last situation, I was in a difficult spot in sharing what I wanted to because I was in that person's (XXXXX) direct chain of command. The same applies here. There is so much I want to tell her. Please pray for her and this little one and for the Holy Spirit to give me and others the exact words to say, and that she would be drawn to the Gospel of Jesus.
Thank you for standing in the gap.
Grace,
XXXXX

Hey guys, I think most of you probably know Charlie on the komm here, and if you don't that's fine too. He's been having some personal issues and overall having a really hard time with his life. He is a Christian but he is very discouraged. Don't ask him about what's wrong because that will only make him more upset, he doesn't want to talk about it. I just ask that we keep him in our prayers that God will send people into his life who can encourage him and build him up.
Thanks.
my grandma is going to have her hip replaced next week because like ten years ago she had it replaced, but it needs to be...... re-replaced. this time is going to be worse though because the doctor thinks she might have an infection in her bone, so they have to do more to get rid of that... but most important she isnt currently saved, some i'm also hoping that she'll come to know God through all of this
Hey guys... could you pray for a Komm member that i dont want to name? Their grandfather suddenly died a few nights ago and this member isnt saved. Thanks
A friend of mine is going through some really rough stuff. She just lost her job, was dumped by her bf (and he doesn't want to discuss it with her either - no closure). And now that she is single, her room mate has started harassing/flirting with her making her super uncomfortable (and he's doing so in front of her kids too sometimes). When I've talked to her it sounds like she is a strong believer, but right now she feels like the world is against her. She said to me "I know there is joy in the morning, but when is this night gonna be over? ...It's like a fortnight!"
My main prayer request for her is that she and her kiddos can get into a better living situation. It started out ok, but now I'm worried for her and what her kids are growing up seeing.
My sister really needs prayer right now: recently her best friend passed away. No one is exactly sure what happened, as she was found in her apartment, alone, and on the floor. They think she had a seizure and had not been taking her prescribed medication, and no one was around to help her. :(
My sister has always struggled with self-worth, and this friend meant the world to her. She is really struggling to stay positive through all of this. Please pray for her, that God will comfort her in this really difficult time. Also pray for her friend's family. This friend was only in contact with her grandma and had no relationship with her parents whatsoever.
Please be praying for my grandmother. She was recently admitted to the hospital with symptoms such as dizziness, numbness, and weakness. She kept on getting worse and worse, until she could no longer walk. She was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, which you can read about here if you are interested. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guillain%E2%80%93Barr%C3%A9_syndrome It is usually not fatal, although it can be if it affects the respiratory system. She is now being treated, although it may take a long time for her to recover. She is in a state of paralysis right now and the medication is making her scared and anxious. Be praying that she would recover quickly and that her lungs would remain untouched by the sickness. Thank you!
My brother who is a senior in high school was at a wrestling tournament recently when he broke his hand and it's not going to heal until after the state meet this year. It was a big goal for him to place this year and he's feeling pretty down. Thank you all for your prayers!
please pray that i am not ashamed of the gospel and that i would not care so much about what others think than what god thinks
My father has stage 4 throat cancer. As difficult as this is, I am most concerned about his soul.
I became a Christian when I was 13, and later baptized into the membership of a Baptist church when I was 14. My father, a secular hindu, was very antagonistic toward these and other decisions. Over the years he's grown more tolerant of it. (There is a wonderful story here, full of God's goodness.) Nevertheless, spiritual subjects have become taboo between us.
Please, I need all the prayer I can get, for wisdom and, frankly, for courage to talk to him about salvation again. And mostly, I need a miracle to happen in his heart.
Anita - - my Pastor (fundamental, independant Baptist) was once many moons ago the youth pastor at the largest congregation in the NYC area. He still maintains close ties with many good Godly men in that area. If you would need assistance I would be glad to ask him for some contact that could reach out to you. God Bless.
Here is a link to one of Pastor Wells' recent messages to give you an idea of his concern for reaching lost souls . . . http://videos.parksidebaptist.org/#/video/79645109
He sounds a bit worn out in this video, because he just arrived home the previous day following a 10-day trip to the Phillipines leading a soul-winning conference for regional preachers.
