My VIP Weekend at Buffer Festival!
Hiya Beasts!
I've won a contest sponsored by Canon Camera to be one of 5 people from all of Canada to gain VIP access to film behind the scenes at Buffer Festival in Toronto this November. Buffer Festival is basically a big awesome YouTube Movie Festival and this is its' first year. I'll be shooting at red carpet parties and events with MysteryGuitarMan, Grace Helbig, Harto, Wheezy Waiter, Emma Approved, Charlie McDonnell, Mike Falzone, and many many many more!

So you already have needlepoint items made for some of the event celebrities . . . at least WW & MGM . . . are you planning to present these as gifts on the red carpet and film responses as part of your montage submission video?
Looks like there are a huge number of YouTubers participating in the festival (http://www.bufferfestival.com/guests/), but I don't see Rhett and Link on the list. Too sad for you.

I tweeted at R&L to see if I could get them to participate, but it didn't happen :( Maybe next year, although there's no way I'll win this contest 2 years in a row, I'm hoping to assist with the festival again next year, so *fingers crossed*!
I've already sent my MGM and WW needlepoint pieces to MGM and WW through the mail. Presenting them at the festival might have been nice, although they'd have to carry them around all day after that. I'm working on a pillow for Grace Helbig right now. The video should be up by the end of this week! :)

It looks like a good time was had by all in attendance. I am very glad to see that the needlepoint made its appearance at BufferFest 2013. How many signatures did you end up with? Which is your fangirl favorite moment of the event? Give some stories!
