Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
In todays episode of #GMM Good Mythical Morning (Episode 311) Rhett and Link talked more about the Twitter war for custody of the hash tag #GMM. But Rhett referred to us(the Fans, Mythical Beasts) as a herd. Link thought this was a bad name, he thought it sounded like Rhett was calling us Elephants. So I made this discussion to come up with a better name when referring to us a group.

Thanks! And stay MYTHICAL, beasts!

"herd" sounds like a great, simple, collective term.
Most of the group terms suggested are used for groupings of one particular type of animal, while the Mythical Beasts are not necessarily so. I'd lean towards a word we come up with ourselves, or something like a menagerie, or a conglomeration.
Very true!
I agree that calling us a kommunity makes sense, but it is also rather generic, especially when spoken as opposed to written. We need something that conjures up images of individuality, cleverness, and mythicness.
I actually really like Menagerie. It sounds a little exotic and sophisticated, plus it has bonus alliteration factor.
Boy, you took the words right out of my mouth...I was also going to throw my hat behind "menagerie" and mention the alliterative aspect.
A menagerie of mythical beasts! I think it works.
FREAKING BEST IDEA YET!
I like Menagerie too.
there are 2 of these discussions going on right now, so forgive the repetition . . .
I would nominate either:
a.) KOMMUNITY of mythical beasts (not only where we are located, but what we are collectively)
b.) UBIQUITOUS of mythical beasts
. . . and as for the allerative angle . . . how can you beat a ubiquitous of beasts
Ouch, what a burn.
I'm mythical enough...but I also have enough restraint not to abuse my mythical powers!
