How did you become/discover bronies?

Well its been about a year being a brony so I thought I should share mt story. Last summer I was surfing Youtube, I was watching the Epic Rap Battles of History, found the the Wright Brothers one and became a fan of Rhett and Link. A few months pasted and they posted the Brony Controversy video. Being an open minded person I watched the first two episodes of MLP and I instantly became brony. For a while I stayed a closet brony until my brother told the world, and my life was ruined. Well I thought it was. I embraced my bronyhood and now I wouldn't change a thing. I now am making youtube covers of famous brony songs.

I became a Brony (I prefer Pegasister actually) thru GMM too. I watched the videos the talked about in that video ( yes i watched all of "Ballad of the Brony" as a non-briny/pegasister). After that I thought "Interesting" and moved on. Later, my six-year-old step-sister was watching a few episodes. I was playing Minecraft while they were watching "Suited for Success" and heard the "20% cooler" thing and thought "so that's where that's from" so I went downstairs to watch tv with them after a while and saw the last about 2/3 of "May the Best Pet Win", so I didn't see the beginning or the song. After that I started to watch all the episodes in order on YouTube and I was hooked. Also, by the time i finished watching season 2, there was only a week left till season three! Huray for good timing!

One of my friends had watched a couple episodes and told me about how wonderful it was so i looked it up and it was even more amazing then he explained it to be!!! i want to see the movie soooo badly!!!! rainbowdash and fluttershy r my favorites. and princess luna.

I first heard it though Howard Stern talking about it I was interested and after a few episodes I was hooked and am now a proud pegisister now I got my friend to be a brony too lol.

About 2-3 years ago ( can't remember exactly, seems like I've been a fan for forever.) I stumbled across it on Netflix. Of course, at first I was reluctant to watch it. I thought it was gonna be another dumb kids show. But oh, was I wrong. I now have watched EVERY EPISODE, and the movie they just made (equestria girls, which is better than I thought it would be.) I own several pieces of MLP fan items (including 6-7 buttons, 6 figurines, a T-shirt, and a plush)

Would never give it up. MLP rocks!

Before I say anything else, let's go back to where my opinion was before MLP:FiM. A the time, whenever someone mentioned the words "My Little Pony", my mind immediately recoiled from the thought of the 2003-2009 version. At least, up until the point when I was watching RhettandLink. I believe I was watching the "best TV show theme song ever", when I saw the Bronies Controversy video. At the time, I had I idea what bronies were, so I decided to check it out. After I watched the video, I was still extremely skeptical about the whole situation. Yet, I was curious enough about it to check out Saberspark's Ballad of the Brony. After that, I left it alone for a few days. Then, half-heartedly, I watched the first episode... The Second episode... The fourth episode... Obviously, I was completely hooked. I am now a brony, and am proud of it!!!

I had a crush on this guy at my school and he had a brony shirt on. I had no idea what it was, so I looked it up and was immediately sucked into the fandom and I've been lo in' and toleration' ever since!
