I noticed Link that you weren't wearing your characteristic specs in most (if not all?) of the movie? I'm curious why.

I found out I needed glasses when I went to a baseball game and couldn't see the score on the super-jumbo digital scoreboard. My first thought: "...Well that's not good." But then I got really cool glasses so it turned into quite a good thing :)
I found out I needed glasses a while after I wore my grandpas glasses. It was all fuzzy, and I liked looking through them cause I've never had glasses before, but unfortunately that was the reason I needed glasses. -_- I was like Great! I shouldn't have worn my grandpas glasses all the time!!! (Which I did secretly... LOL) And now, people say I look better with my glasses on. They are also the same people who said glasses won't look good on you. >_cite>Link (Chiasquatch) said:
I had just gotten my glasses around that time and I wasn't used to wearing them all the time. 2006. I was still thinking I wouldn't need them except when, like, driving at night. Funny.

It's funny, when I went in to the optometrist in 06, it was just 'cause I had the coverage. And to get info about macular degeneration because Lincoln Clause has it... I didn't think I needed glasses.

When Dr. Tony told me I needed em...it was weird...I kinda had an emotional reaction. R-r-re-really? I-I need *gulp* glasses?! It was like a blow to my ego or something...subconsciously. But I quickly embraced it as an opportunity for self expression.

And now you think I look weird without em in the movie, huh?

Everyone who's reading this-- reply and tell me how you found out you needed glasses. And what was your initial emotional response?
My mom noticed my eyes moved a little weird when i was a baby. I can't really tell you my reaction, because i was 1 and a half (They were tiny little flintstones glasses). :) So i've had them for as long as i can remember (i'm 14). But now since i'm getting older my parents are going to let me get contacts. Yay!

PS. You look better with glasses. But not the bigger ones that youve worn in more recent videos. The smaller ones.

My 8 year old niece wants to share her piece:

"When I find out I needed glasses I was kind of shy and nervous because I thought I was gonna look weird. I was going to have to go to school with glasses. But then I relied that other kids wear glasses so I didn't feel shy any more.

Now I feel better because I can see well and I can read better."
