Anybody play in a worship band?

It seems as if I am the only person i know that actually plays with a worshop band. kinda sad lol

I play piano and sing. I co lead on Sunday morning and lead on Wednesday nights! It's a blessing!

I sing BGV's many Sundays and about once a month I lead the team. I don't play anything well enough to play on stage but I have a wonderful team of musicians that make leading much easier. Anyone have a current favorite song? (or 5) Currently our church really loves Glorious Day (Casting Crowns), 10,000 Reasons, and I like almost anything by Paul Baloche. Hope to teach them The Save Love this week.

Hey! I'm new here, but I figured I'd start here. I play bass guitar and yes I play in my church's praise band. It's not your normal church though. We ROCK it out! lol Doing covers from Coldplay to some dubstep stuff. It's awesome. Oh and it's all memorized, no music on stage.

im auditioning for my church choir if that counts =p

my church doesn't really have a worship band tho so that's about as close as I can even get XD

i play the drums for our church. thats why i like our church cuz they like to play rock and roll songs so i actually get to rock out. YEAH!!!
